Through our shops • We always appreciate our customers, whether buying our goods or providing the goods for us to sell. It’s the mainstay of the money raised that is making a difference. • Perhaps you may be interested in applying to be a shop volunteer. Donate • If you are inspired, you can give now using the link to the right, which is also at the top right of every page. o It’s via the charity “Paypal Giving Fund” using the website www.paypal.com/donate. o No PayPal account? No problem! Use “Check out as a Guest” where you can pay by card. o You can “Gift Aid” your donation, if you are a UK taxpayer. Basically, whatever you donate it will be worth an extra 25% to us, as the UK Government will give us the tax you had paid on your earning of that money. • You can also send a cheque, payable to “Annie’s Orphans” to our address. • If you do donate, we would just like to say thank you in advance - so, “Thank you!”. Fundraising events Perhaps you have a fundraising idea you want to implement to benefit Annie’s. When you fundraise for Annie’s Orphans your efforts make a difference to people all over the world. You can also participate in a fundraising event - it all helps and it can be very enjoyable. What about a cake bake, sponsored silence, shave your head or legs, a coffee morning or something completely different? We’ve had many fundraising event, particularly when we have one-off big projects, and they really help in seeing them happen. Amongst others, we’ve had: • Fashion Shows - where volunteers become models of our clothes, people invited to buy them (the clothes!) and everyone has a good time raising money. • Meals - an organised meal, with a speaker, to raise awareness and money. • Supermarket bag packing - whether in fancy dress or not, this has a good way of raising money and awareness of what we are doing. • Sponsored events - walks, runs or other things have all contributed to meeting needs.
